The Via di Brava Prison Police School in Rome has been in operation since 1992 and covers an area of 130,000 square metres. It organises and conducts both initial and refresher training courses to all personnel of the Penitentiary Administration. It is the venue for competitions, seminars and conferences. The Rome School of the Penitentiary Police also houses the headquarters of the Mobile Operations Group.
